Creating a comfortable atmosphere to help you process and work through stress and challenges is what drives and inspires me as a therapist. I strive to help others manage and overcome the negative impact of adversity and develop effective, lifelong coping
skills.
I practice from a strengths-based, person-centered, narrative approach and incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and expressive arts such as creative writing and art therapy when thought to be beneficial. Some of my specialty areas include anxiety, bereavement, loss, and oncology, but I have a wide range of experience from my work with those preschool aged to those turning nearly one hundred.
