My first time starting therapy, Greg was very warm and welcoming, looking forward to the work we will be doing together.
Greg is kind, sympathetic, and a great listener. It’s clear he cares about creating a working relationship with his patients rather than just working through his calendar of appointments. I’m glad to have found him and recommend him.

More about Greg Hofmann, MS

Note: Greg Hofmann is a pre-licensed Psychotherapist working under the supervision of Alexander Badillo. I firmly believe that each person holds the answers to their challenges, and through the collaborative process of therapy, people can become empowered to discover these answers and achieve their goals. In my practice, both the therapist and the client are actively engaged in the exploration of the client's thoughts, emotions, and experiences within a non-judgmental and nurturing space. In this space, I strive to create an environment where you can feel comfortable and safe in expressing yourself and exploring your concerns. Respecting the uniqueness of each individual is at the core of my practice, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. Drawing from various therapeutic modalities, such as Internal Family Systems, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and relational therapies, I hope to empower clients to discover their own strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create steps to reach their therapeutic goals. In session, you can expect encouragement toward self-reflection, self-compassion, and personal growth, while helping you become comfortable living in life's gray areas. I completed my master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at Rutgers University. I received my undergraduate psychology degree from Boston University, where I focused on women, gender, queer, and sexuality studies, rendering me sensitive to the needs and issues affecting members of the LGBTQIA+ and other diverse communities. I look forward to meeting you and helping you heal, grow, and thrive; ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Greg has been an extremely helpful therapist. I appreciate his ability to listen and help me reason through issues I am facing. Greg creates a comfortable atmosphere that allows you to share openly, and feel safe while doing so.
I really enjoyed my time with this therapist. He clearly has lot of knowledge of the field and is compassionate and comforting. He strikes a great balance between active listening/allowing me to finish my meandering thoughts while offering helpful insights and larger patterns which I appreciate and have struggled to find in the past. I have learned a lot about myself and look forward to continuing treatment.
Greg Hofmann is a compassionate and intelligent professional. He listens attentively. Greg’s nonjudgmental demeanor is disarming and genuine, providing the safe space necessary to communicate honestly. Greg Hofmann is highly recommended.
