Greg has been instrumental is my recovery from back pain. He speaks with me about how I am feeling and then plans my treatment accordingly. I walked into Alliance just over 3 weeks ago limping and in much pain, now my pain has been significantly lessened and my limp is almost gone. I highly recommend Greg and Alliance.
I have been treated by physical therapists for the last 15 years. Alliance orthopedics, specifically Greg Byrne, Caitlin Alpaugh, and Anthony Lanzano have provided me with the best treatment I have ever had. My ability to do things that I formally could not has improved 1000%. I hold heartedly endorse seeing alliance orthopedics and all there staff.

However, we do not accept Medicaid. Greg Byrne, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist and the Clinical Director at Alliance Orthopedics in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He believes that successful rehabilitation requires teamwork between the therapist and the patient through constant communication focused on returning the patient to their specific goals. He emphasizes that retraining proper movement mechanics and neuromuscular recruitment is paramount to ensuring a patient not only recovers but also stays healthy post-therapy. Dr. Byrne completed his undergraduate studies at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2011. He then attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. Dr. Byrne has an extensive background in his field. He has worked in various clinics and healthcare settings, including Southern Ocean Physical Therapy, Premiere Orthopedics, UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospital, and HCR ManorCare. During these years, Dr. Byrne gained invaluable hands-on experience in treating and evaluating patients, managing support groups, and developing treatment programs for various conditions. A native of East Brunswick, New Jersey, Dr. Byrne enjoys spending time with his friends and family, especially his brother, Sean. He also likes attending sporting events to cheer on the Knicks, Giants, and Devils.

Greg at Alliance Orthopedics is a fantastic physical therapist. He gets to know you and your issues and uses a variety of techniques to help you feel better.
I can’t say enough good things about Alliance Ortho, especially Greg in particular. Greg is extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, takes the time each visit to talk to you about your injury/progress and explains everything in a way that’s very easy to understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He’s the best of the best.
I interned under Greg at NJSW for the last few months and enjoyed every bit of it. He is one of the best, if not the best, physical therapist I’ve worked with to this day! I learned so much from observing him as he interacted with a diverse range of patients.
