About Anant Kulkarni

Anant is a Physical Therapist, Licensed in New York state since 2016. He was born in India and always had an interest in physical activity, sports and helping people better themselves through exercise. Anant Graduated in Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Nizam’s institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, India. During his bachelor’s he worked with patients who had variety of conditions including, spinal cord injuries, stroke, reconstructive plastic surgeries, orthopedic injuries, and post op. After completing his Bachelor’s, Anant moved to the US for his Master’s in exercise science and nutrition. He obtained his DPT from Touro College in New York, which helped him further improve his clinical, diagnostic, and treatment skills. Anant likes working with a wide variety of patient population and believes in treating the whole body, by focusing on the entire kinetic chain – to avoid reinjury and to improve the efficacy of movement while minimizing pain. He enjoys treating orthopedic and post-operative conditions. Having dealt with multiple foot injuries and plantar fasciitis in the past, he has a special interest in treating foot and ankle injuries/conditions. Anant is passionate about his work and continues to stay up to date on the latest research and techniques in physical therapy to provide the best possible care for his patients. His compassionate approach helps him better connect with his patients. In his free time he likes to explore the city, watch documentaries, movies and travel to the mountains. Anant stays active by practicing Brazilian Jiujitsu, boxing, yoga and cycling.
