Do you need someone to help ground you when life is spinning? I will guide you in figuring out what you really want so that you handle each crisis with wisdom. As we work together, you’ll see that life may not be perfect, but you’ll know, at your very core, that you’re okay.
My goal is to provide a supportive and empathetic space for you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your current life situations. In session, we will build an integrated approach unique to you, one that will best support your healing. I will work side-by-side with you to identify what type of help you most need by understanding your unique story with genuine curiosity. This type of healing can help you become the best version of yourself while honoring who you are and your unique challenges in this moment.
Together we can challenge those stuck places or automatic thoughts and beliefs that are no longer serving you. As your awareness of yourself and your inner voice grows, I will empower you to make intentional choices and build the life you deserve.
If you’re not into talking, I offer EMDR therapy as another way we can heal the pain inside. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients including people who work in the helping field, have experienced trauma, anxiety/panic, grief and loss, difficult relationships, life changes, and those who need help coping with political and environmental issues.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, trained in EMDR, and hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. Some of the healing modalities I use include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I use a strength-based approach and strive to be inclusive, culturally sensitive, and supportive of the LGBTQ+ community.
