Please complete it within 48 hours of receiving it.** It’s pretty hard to be a person sometimes. Life can be weird and overwhelming to the point where we stop remembering how cool it is to be a person. Being a person is really cool. My goal as your therapist is to normalize “needing” therapy, help you explore what it means for you to have a meaningful life, and support you on the way to living the most authentic version of yourself. I think we all have an internal healing wisdom, we only need to lean in and discover it for ourselves, I’m here to help you do just that.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As an Art Therapist, I know the healing power and magic of the creative process. Sometimes we don’t have the words to articulate our feelings, sometimes words aren’t enough to express ourselves, and sometimes we just need an excuse to get into some art materials and play. All art is autobiographical, it tells your story in every mark you make and color you choose. You don’t need to be an artist to do art therapy, you only need the courage to lean in and let yourself experience. My role is to encourage you, engage you in the creative process, and support you through the act of creation. If art isn’t your thing, that’s okay! We can just talk if that’s more your speed. My practice is grounded in existentialism. We’re right here, right now. The Universe does what it does, challenges and curveballs come our way, but we get to choose how we respond and grow in the face of them. I’ll meet you where you’re at with curiosity, compassion, and humor. Therapy (like being a person) can be hard, but it’s worth it. Trust the process, trust yourself, you are worthy of the fruits of this work.
