Hi there, I'm Willard! Hello. I am Dr. Willard (Will) Sheets. I hold a PhD in Counseling from Ohio University and am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio with 25 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families live more fulfilling lives. My approach I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy extensively in my work, with an initial emphasis on a Person-Centered approach. My focus I am a generalist who works with all types of disorders. I have extensive experience with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. I am comfortable working with all disorders, although anxiety disorders seem to be the type I have worked with most effectively historically. My communication style My communication style is open, honest, and transparent, and that is the environment I strive to create for my clients. My journey to mental healthcare My career as a therapist is rooted in my own experiences with depression and anxiety and how I was helped to overcome these with therapy. My motivation and drive for the work of a therapist is to assist others who are suffering from issues they cannot surmount on their own. My goals for you Goal setting is a collaborative effort in my practice, with the client being the expert on what goals they wish to achieve.
