I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, panic-attacks, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other mental health challenges. I take the time to understand you and your lived experience, not just categorize your symptoms into a diagnosis. I work collaboratively with each client to relieve suffering and see enduring results. In addition to medication management, I provide psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. For children, I provide medication management only. Often, clients see the best results when therapy is part of treatment.
I tailor your treatment to meet your unique needs. For therapy clients, my approach draws on psychodynamic, experiential, and attachment based foundations. I provide a caring and nurturing, but active therapeutic relationship. I am also happy to collaborate with your existing therapist as well.

James is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner. He completed his graduate training at the University of Pennsylvania and continued psychotherapy training through the Washington School of Psychiatry. In addition to private practice, he has experience in a variety of clinical settings including crisis-clinics, ERs, and inpatient units.
