I am a mental health counselor practicing under a limited permit with clinical supervision. I work with adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals, and I am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
My clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). I support clients with a wide range of concerns, from managing everyday stressors, anxiety, and emotional regulation challenges to working through deeper, long-standing trauma and identity-related issues. I also bring a forensic psychology perspective to my work, which informs my attention to safety, boundaries, and the impact of systems involvement on mental health.
I currently provide teletherapy services under the guidance of an experienced clinical supervisor. Supervision is an integral part of my practice and helps ensure ethical, thoughtful, and effective care. I view therapy as a collaborative process and tailor my approach to each client’s needs, pace, and goals. My aim is to help clients build insight, resilience, and practical skills that support meaningful and sustainable change.
