Getting to know Jonah Tambor
I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years, and I spent the last five years working as a professional counselor with children, adolescents, young adults, middle aged adults, older adults, couples and families on a variety of mental health issues (anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief, social anxiety, eating disorders, and career counseling).

Life is a challenge and sometimes it is best to talk to a professional stranger. I am a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) stranger and counseling for me is all about the relationship between the client or clients and counselor. The relationship must include respecting the client and creating a bond that is meaningful and impactful.

I specialize in telehealth counseling, and I use an integrative therapeutic approach that incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, positive psychology, person-centered, mindfulness and others.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
