My Name is S. Jay Terterian. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
I create an environment of safety and trust where people can build upon their current strengths to gain awareness of self-limiting beliefs and empowerment to increase self-efficacy. My approach is aimed at assisting others in moving through uncertainty and doubt into a world of expanded possibilities.
I provide counseling and psychotherapy to adults, couples, adolescents, children, and families. I specialize in short and long-term counseling & psychotherapy for: Marital issues – Depression – stress – anxiety – relationships – work/career – low self-esteem – anger management- trauma – phobias/OCD – bereavement/grief – self-development – Substance Abuse -Behavioral issues.
I implement clinically tested and evidence based interventions. I use an integrated, collaborative approach which ensures a customized treatment that meets my client’s needs. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental approach that is conducive to positive changes in my client’s lives. As well as these other services, I am a Christian Counselor and can offer help in a faith based context.
