I am a licensed New York State Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master's degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University in 2008. I have been working as a full time social worker for over 8 years. I have extensive experience providing therapy to individuals, couples and families. I have also worked with people struggling with substance abuse issues and their family members. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression, anxiety, stress or relationship issues I am here to help.
Together, we can work to discuss what issues are going on, develop a wellness plan, talk about positive ways to cope and improve your overall mood. I offer a safe space to be able to discuss whatever may be happening in your life and focus on your strengths.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy and come from a strengths based perspective. By starting therapy, it is a great way to discover more about yourself. I look forward to working with you.
