Dr. Halpern has conducted research focused on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and mentalization. She is trained in the Adult Attachment Interview and has completed advanced training in Psychotherapy through Postpartum Support International. She is currently pursuing a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C).
