I am a licensed clinical social worker and a certified clinical trauma professional, with a Master’s in Social Work from Norfolk State University. I have developed an interest in energy healing, emphasizing the power of letting go of old mindsets to embrace change for a renewed life worth living.
My approach
I believe everyone is unique, and there is no "one size fits all" approach to working with people; however, I use a holistic approach. I meet you where you are, and together, we work on getting you where you want to be. This approach is rooted in my belief that we are mind, body, and spirit. I also incorporate family systems theory and the humanistic approach because they emphasize the importance of child development and Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
My focus
I am most comfortable working with clients who are open to using a holistic approach in therapy. No matter your belief in a higher power, if you have one, it can be helpful in using a holistic approach to therapy.
My communication style
I intentionally create a safe, inviting environment for you. I want all parts of yourself to feel comfortable and accepted.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have always been a healer and believe I was called to help others. Seeing others overcome their fears and grow into the best version of themselves is what drives me to keep doing this work.
My goals for you
Setting goals is a collaborative effort. As we set your treatment goals, we will revisit them as needed to ensure you feel satisfied with your progress and are on track to meet them within the agreed timeframe.

The first session is less structured, with the intention of building rapport and setting a positive tone for the sessions moving forward.
