Hi there, I'm Jennifer!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Arizona, working with Illinois clients statewide via telehealth. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Illinois State University. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, stress, trauma, and depression, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to help my clients make progress and start feeling better.
My approach
I tailor my therapeutic approach to each client's unique needs and utilize a variety of methods to achieve success. Together, we create personalized goals to work toward feeling better and moving forward on the wellness journey.
My focus
I have over 20 years of experience assisting families, individuals, teen parents, and children in crisis as a social worker. I have 9 years of experience supporting this population as an LCSW in various capacities. I am licensed in both Illinois and Arizona and currently focus on adults ages 19 to 75.
My communication style
I believe sessions are a safe space for clients to release anxiety, stress, and depression while learning new coping skills. I listen attentively and engage honestly and empathetically. I move at the client's pace to foster positive growth through a strength-based, supportive approach.

I am passionate about helping people on their mental health journey, walking alongside them, and celebrating their successes. My goal is to help clients find more joy and happiness by allowing their authentic selves to shine through.

Goal setting is important to keep both the client and me focused on why therapy was sought and how they want to change or improve their lives. Goals are client-centered and include clear, objective steps to make them achievable.
