Hi there, I'm Jennifer! I am an LCSW in Virginia. I have been practicing with my license for almost 7 years, but have been working with people needing support for over twenty years. I truly want to help people find a solution to whatever challenges they are facing, that is as unique as they are:) My approach My approach depends on the person I am working with, and where they are at that day/hour I see them. My focus Whatever my client wants to focus on...that's where we start. My communication style Relaxed, direct, positive. I always want to make sure that everyone understands one another and that we are always on the same page. My journey to mental healthcare I wanted to be able to have the opportunity to be there for people the way I wish people had been there for me when I was struggling. I got my education and my LCSW to ensure that when people who needed a voice, I could speak up for them, and they would be heard...until they could speak for themselves.
