Hi there, I'm Jennifer!
I am an LCSW in Virginia. I have been practicing with my license for almost 7 years, but have been working with people needing support for over twenty years. I truly want to help people find a solution to whatever challenges they are facing, that is as unique as they are:)

My approach depends on the person I am working with, and where they are at that day/hour I see them.

Whatever my client wants to focus on...that's where we start.
My communication style
Relaxed, direct, positive. I always want to make sure that everyone understands one another and that we are always on the same page.
My journey to mental healthcare
I wanted to be able to have the opportunity to be there for people the way I wish people had been there for me when I was struggling. I got my education and my LCSW to ensure that when people who needed a voice, I could speak up for them, and they would be heard...until they could speak for themselves.

You will leave the first session feeling some kind of relief for whatever it is that is bringing you into therapy.
