Hi, I'm Jennifer.
Have you suffered a brain injury or TBI and desire a therapist who understands? Have you experienced significant trauma or are you struggling with daily life stressors? Are you looking for a therapist to help you develop boundaries? We can work together to develop strategies to improve balance in your life.
Engaging in therapy can be an intimidating process. I help patients process trauma, changes in cognitive processing, and difficulties in daily relationships. A new diagnosis can be hard to process and feel overwhelming. I work with patients to identify strengths as well as opportunities for improvement.
I use Cognitive Processing Therapy to address trauma, modifying it as needed to meet individual needs. We'll utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, adjusting as needed to help you feel comfortable and build confidence in yourself. I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can build skills to help you through life's ups and downs.
I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively.
