I specialize in providing relationally focused therapy to individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and identities. I am a Latinx therapist with Ecuadorian and Colombian heritage, my passion lies in working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and migrant communities who struggle with anxiety, depression, first-generation issues, relationships, self-esteem, trauma, and development. My desire is to support others in breaking down societal and cultural beliefs about therapy and identify a better understanding of themselves, and/or their family that is holistically informed by identity, culture, and past experiences.
I promote an open, non-judgmental space where your pace guides our journey. I offer supportive yet challenging feedback, blending approaches with a focus on trauma-focused and mind-body supports. Collaboration is key; you're the expert, and I'm here to support you. I am also certified in EMDR for trauma reprocessing and utilize IFS-informed practices.
I aim to create a non-judgmental, inviting space to explore feelings, strengthen connections with self and others, and foster personal growth. As a liberation-focused therapist, I am committed to implementing an anti-oppressive practice to ensure people feel empowered and connected in their healing.
