Today was my first session with Jessica Tau and I am very happy with my decision to come to Professional PT. Everyone was so very nice. Jessica was wonderful. She did a thorough evaluation and asked a lot of questions. I felt confident that she understood what was going on with my situation. She and the young lady assisting her were very clear and gentle. I have no doubt I will be good as new in no time.

Having always been involved in sports as a child, I knew that my career would lead me down a path in healthcare. I graduated from Stony Brook University with my Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training and worked as the head Athletic Trainer at Holy Trinity HS. During my time as the ATC at Holy Trinity, I recognized that I wanted to further my career, my education, and my ability to help patients. I graduated from NYIT with my doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. As a physical therapist, I value the time spent with my patients, and working with them to help them to achieve their goals. As a physical therapist, I utilize a combination of therapeutic exercises, functional exercises and manual therapy (massage, joint mobilization and stretching) interventions in order to help my patients achieve their goals. I truly have a passion in helping my patients get better - my goal is my patients' goal!
