Jill Brock, LCSW

Psychotherapist
TN
Hello, my name is Jill Brock. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of practice experience. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. I use a solution-focused approach that helps you achieve the results you want quickly. My approach I provide open, honest, and non-judgmental dialogue to identify treatment goals and realistic steps to meet them. I will challenge you to be your best. My focus I am well-versed in treating a wide range of clients. I frequently work with individuals dealing with anxiety, life phase issues, marital challenges, high-conflict divorce and co-parenting issues, adult ADHD, and job-related stress. My communication style I have found that laughter is often the best medicine. Many issues people face feel heavy and abnormal, but I help normalize these experiences and teach you to “look at the positives.” I support you in becoming more mentally resilient so you can power through your problems. My journey to mental healthcare I can honestly say I have never worked a day in my life. I’m one of those lucky people who loves what I do. I believe my life experiences, both good and bad, have helped shape me into the therapist I am today. My goals for you We begin by identifying the situation that prompted you to start therapy. From there, we set goals to resolve that issue first. As we explore your social history and ongoing challenges, we will set short-term, long-term, and even life goals. My first session with you In our first session, we will discuss what brought you to therapy. I will also gather social history and family background information. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and decide if I am a good fit for you. It’s key to feel comfortable with the therapist you work with.
