I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), a licensed addictions therapist (LAT) and a health coach currently pursuing my National Board of Health & Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) certification. As a therapist, I have 20 years of experience working with mental health and substance abuse clients. My passion for this work, for overall wellness and how to heal in a more holistic way led me to attending becoming a health coach as well. As a coach, I am passionate about helping individuals to resolve sleep issues, emotional/binge eating, relationships, and beliefs and thoughts that limit you and keep you from achieving goals. As a therapist, I have extensive training in working with parts of us in an approach called Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I am also trained in Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also trained to use a method of biofeedback, called heart rate variability (HRV) biofeedback to help clients fully achieve health and help resolve symptoms of anxiety and depression.
