Therapy can be an intimidating process at first. This is why I specialize in geek therapy, to help you find care and ways to achieve goals that incorporate who you are into the process. My approach I use a variety of methods based on your preference to help you identify and achieve realistic goals and change. I have extensive training and experience in using CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, SFBT, Family, Couples, and Group Therapy interventions. Therapy will be a collaboration between us. My focus If you have been struggling to make the most of your life, work, or relationships and are willing to be honest and open, we can work well together. I have helped individuals seeking to enhance their well-being, families struggling with their interactions and changes in life, as well as couples working on their relationship, will find that together we can help to achieve the goals they desire. My communication style I prefer an open and collaborative style of communication. You will get the chance to tell your story, and together we will identify the next steps to help write the next chapter to be what you desire. Often, this includes using stories from pop culture to help identify threads and pathways you are comfortable with. My journey to mental healthcare My family had struggles growing up, and I wanted to become the support I wished I had but didn't. Now, I have had extensive experiences in the mental health field that have given me an extensive toolbox to use to help people identify the kind of treatment and outcomes that work best for them. My goals for you Together, we will identify your story up until now and then help you to identify what you want your next chapter in life to be. We will then collaborate on steps you can take to achieve this while I support your efforts. My first session with you Meeting with me will be like catching up with an old friend you haven't seen in years.
