It can be difficult to access the fulfillment we all deserve when it feels like we are up against a world that does not understand or value us in our entireties. I believe that the space you and I co-create can serve as a springboard for meaningful processing of this difficulty and-ultimately-the rich, self-determined life you want to live. While centering your experiences, even those that are most challenging, I bring unconditional openness, warmth, and humor.
I aim to serve as a trustworthy guide and confidant as you set goals that are right for you. My approach is trauma-informed, recognizing the deep impact of past experiences on your current wellbeing. I have extensive training and experience working with queer and/or trans clients, those processing religious trauma, and those on journeys of body acceptance.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree from Hunter College. I am currently accepting individual clients and relationships (couples, polycules, other non-normative relationship structures, friends, etc.). By opening yourself up to seeking therapy, you have already begun. Let's continue this work together in partnership.
