Hi, I’m Kenya! I’m a mental health counselor, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore your thoughts and emotions. I understand that therapy is a personal journey, and I strive to build a trusting relationship by helping you define your goals, conducting thorough assessments, and offering a space that’s just for you. I work with individuals and couples using a goal-oriented and holistic approach. I’ve supported clients through a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, dissociative disorders, postpartum depression, and ADHD. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies to help you develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges and building emotional resilience. I earned my degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and bring over six years of experience to my practice. My focus is on helping you create meaningful, lasting change by addressing the thoughts and patterns that impact your well-being. No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to support you in finding greater clarity, balance, and confidence.
