Joseph (Jef) Faulkner is married with four school-aged children. He is a regular distance runner. In his free time, he enjoys reading all kinds of fiction—even historical fiction—and biography, which he is currently doing. He also loves taking walks with the family dog.
Jef has worked in the mental health field for over thirty-five years. He is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in child and family therapy. Currently, his primary focus is on treating boys between the ages of six and eighteen who are having trouble adjusting to their return to school after the disruptions caused by COVID-19. Many of these boys are dealing with high anxiety, others struggle with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and a few have been coping with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Over the years, he has also helped several boys with family adjustment issues and looks forward to continuing this important work in the years ahead.
