I hold a Master’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Public Health, both from Boston University, and I bring over a decade of experience to our sessions. My professional path began with work involving youth and families within the state's welfare and mental health programs. This early experience laid a strong foundation for my current role as a mental health therapist. As a public health social worker, I believe in examining both the broader societal picture and the individual's unique experiences. We are all shaped by a complex interplay of these factors, and I am dedicated to understanding and helping you navigate them. My practice primarily centers on adolescents and their families, but I am equally passionate about working with adults of all ages. I have a particular focus on LGBTQIA+ individuals, recognizing the importance of providing specialized care and support. I employ a variety of therapeutic approaches, with a special emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, I use a person-centered, strengths-based perspective to create a space where your strengths and unique qualities are celebrated.
