I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Lumos Therapy. I help adults and older adolescents navigate trauma, anxiety, and life transitions through secure telehealth sessions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing and growth can take root.
My approach
I see therapy as a lantern illuminating the stories that shape you while revealing the next steps toward relief and renewal. Drawing from trauma-focused, attachment-based, and expressive therapies, I combine evidence-based techniques with a deeply human, creative touch. Together, we explore your unique experiences, identify patterns that hold you back, and develop practical strategies to build resilience and confidence. My work blends empathy and gentle challenge so you can both feel heard and make meaningful change.
My focus
I work with adults and older adolescents who are navigating the aftershocks of trauma, managing anxiety and stress, or moving through major life transitions. Many of my clients are seeking a therapist who honors their story while helping them discover new ways forward. Whether you are rebuilding after difficult experiences or simply ready to grow, I offer a space where your inner light can re-emerge.

My journey to mental healthcare
Since earning my counseling degree in 2012, I’ve followed a path devoted to healing and resilience. I began at ChildHelp, supporting children recovering from abuse and neglect, and trained at the Gil Institute in expressive, cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, and trauma-focused therapies. At Health Connect America, I helped individuals overcome behavioral health challenges before founding Lumos Therapy in 2019 to serve my community.
