In my 30 years of practice as a psychotherapist, I have had the pleasure of helping people get relief from the pain of anxiety, depression, persistent worry and sadness, enabling them to engage in life more fully and develop healthy, meaningful relationships. In attempting to negotiate what can often feel like an impersonal, fast paced world, many people discover the benefit of a psychodynamic approach to therapy. This in-depth work provides a safe environment in which to focus on oneself in a meaningful, growth enhancing way, aided by the expertise of a trained professional.
Understanding the underlying causes of emotional distress makes for lasting change, while at the same time building a more solid foundation on which to grow. Exploration of factors that interfere with the development of untapped potential can enhance personal growth. Consequently, you are in a better position to meet the challenges of life, in addition to being able to reap the rewards of enjoyment of life in work, play and personal relationships.
Dr. Rosenstock treats adults in individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy. As a supervisor and teacher, she also trains doctoral students and therapists to provide this service to their own patients.
