Hello, I'm Julia! I'm excited to meet you and get to know you a little better. Together we'll take the first steps on your therapy journey.
I work with clients facing a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, racial trauma, and more. My clients want to work collaboratively to learn tools that aid them in improving their quality of life. My approach is to create safe spaces for our sessions and help clients identify their natural strengths to aid them in their healing journey.
A little more about me: I was born and raised in Ohio. I have spent much of my career in community-based mental health centers. I have a master's degree in social work with 15 years of experience. I have worked with a variety of adult clients.
I specialize in treating anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, grief and bereavement, intimate and romantic relationships, life transitions, medical issues and physical health, multicultural and diversity issues, OCD, phobias, psychosis and schizophrenia, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming, trauma, and traumatic brain injury. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer virtual sessions.
In our work together, you can expect a compassionate and supportive environment where your unique experiences and challenges are honored. I believe in the power of collaboration and will work with you to develop personalized strategies that align with your goals and values.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the beautiful landscapes of Ohio. These personal experiences enrich my understanding and empathy, allowing me to connect with clients on a deeper level.
