Julie approach to therapy is person centered, which means starting where her client is and supporting them throughout their journey toward their personal goals. To this, Julie adds well-researched interventions to fit the needs of her client, such as mindfulness and cognitive behavior therapy. The goal is to cooperate with clients to find the best fit for them. These interventions are trauma informed, meaning that they take into consideration the possible stressors which can impact a person current functioning, but do not solely focus on these. Julie's areas of specialty include Grief/Loss, Mood/Anxiety, Emotion Management, and Substance Misuse.
In her personal life, Julie enjoys spending time with my family and friends, my pets and all animals, concerts, outdoors activities, fishing, swimming, and learning.
