Kaori was very friendly and approachable. I showed up about 10 minutes to the office so she was seeing someone else at the time so of course I had to wait a little but I was seen very promptly at my scheduled time.
I've only seen her once so far but I find her very easy to talk to. She doesn't give any advice, only helps me figure out how I feel and she is able to do that without judgement. It will take me more time to determine if this is a proper fit. She is very good about responding to emails and sending receipts.

If you are on the journey to find ways to relieve stress, emotional difficulties or simply seek ways to feel "GOOD" about yourself, I am here to help you. I value a holistic, integrative approach to help individuals get in touch with their inner voices, regain their sense of self and strengthen their resilience to overcome difficulties that they are facing.
My therapy style is collaborative and relational, and is informed by a healing-oriented, attachment-based psychotherapy model called AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), with emphasis on mindfulness & compassion practices.
With my background as a yoga and meditation practitioner, I am also passionate about sharing mind-body techniques to build individual's life skills.

I've seen dozens of counselors in the past 20 years, but Kaori is the first I have been completely happy with. She has an unbelievable memory so I don't have to repeat. She is also great in terms of response time to email, sending recipts, etc. Highly recommended
