I have spent the majority of my career working with children and families. I have worked as a preschool teacher in my early years, as a registered behavioral technician, and now as a licensed therapist. I have always had a strong passion for working with people on the individual level to help them reach their goals.
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Bachelor’s in Human Services and Family Studies, and a Master’s in Social Work. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages but have a strong inclination toward young adults, adolescents, and children.
My ideal client is an individual who is motivated to create change in their lives. I am open to working with clients who possess a variety of issues as long as they are willing to be active participants in the change process. I like working with clients who require support, guidance, and individually fitted intervention. Most importantly, a client who is willing to learn and grow, through the process that the therapeutic setting offers and clients who wish to be heavily involved in their therapeutic process yield the most effective results in the end.
