I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver, specializing in anxiety, trauma/PTSD, life transitions, navigating relationship stress, depression, and issues related to gender and sexual orientation.
My goal is that you’ll feel accepted and understood when you meet with me, as I am open-minded, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I believe some things in life can be too difficult to move through alone, and we need someone else—a caring, supportive, and non-judgmental presence—to help us find our way. Our work together will be collaborative and authentic to support a sense of empowerment and healing, helping you live a more fulfilling and purposeful life.
Common topics that can come up in therapy include boundaries, self-compassion, grief/loss, attachment and attachment styles, self-care, mindfulness, shame, guilt, motivation, perfectionism, self-doubt, self-criticism, relationship conflict, effective coping skills, life stressors, and acceptance. My therapeutic approach is strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed. Some common modalities I use include EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing. I also draw from Solution-Focused Therapy and relationally focused modalities.
