Are you tired of the constant thoughts racing through your head? Thoughts of daily responsibilities, relationship stressors, navigating life transitions, body image insecurities and food, and general anxieties. Maybe you are pregnant or in your child’s first year of life and feel like you are drowning. You have some people in your life you can talk to sometimes, but that only gives temporary relief. Therapy is the perfect place to show up as you are and learn some skills to feel more balance in your life. If anything above resonates with you, I'm here to tell you that I get it, and I'd love to come alongside you as we navigate these issues together. I am a Christian therapist mainly working with young women struggling with anxiety, relational stressors, body image issues, and disordered eating. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I use compassion and humor to make sessions feel comfortable as I support you by listening and teaching tools that will help with the daily stress you experience. If it sounds like we would be a good fit, please reach out. I look forward to meeting you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe it is important to address emotional, social, relational, spiritual, and physical needs in order to truly heal. I work to make sessions feel comfortable and safe from the beginning. I like to utilize aspects of CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to help you not only cope with your life, but to be an active participant and take back control.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you book a session with me, I will reach out shortly to set up a free 15 minute phone consultation. During this call I will ask some basic background information regarding your goals for therapy and you can ask me any questions you may have. Once we determine I am a good fit for you, I will send over paperwork to be completed before our first session. During the first few sessions we will get to know each other and start to address the reasons that you have sought out therapy. The duration of therapy varies for every individual and we will continue to communicate to determine what is appropriate for you personally.
