Life is full of ups and downs, and having a therapist to assist with processing stressors can help to keep our mental health in check. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, and I pull from different therapies, especially person-centered, existential therapy. I believe that real growth happens when we find the strength to address what is lacking in our lives so that we can take the appropriate steps to create greater meaning. Whether you are seeking therapy to unpack past traumas, manage current stressors, improve relationships, or deal with the many unknowns of life--we can work through it together and at your own pace.
I completed my Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy at The University of Southern California and approach therapy with a warm, accepting, and uplifting attitude. I have experience working with both adolescents and adults dealing with mental health concerns related to mood and anxiety disorders, behavioral issues, adjustment problems, trauma, and relational stress. I also have worked closely with substance abuse disorders, practicing CBT and Motivational Interviewing to help clients confront their addictions head on and develop the coping tools needed to enter recovery. As a believer in mindfulness and holistic healing, I enjoy spreading awareness of the power that our minds hold. Every person has their own unique life journey, and I am here to support you on yours, to help you discover the real, authentic you.
