I am a trauma-informed therapist dedicated to helping clients reach their greatest potential through empowerment, support, and strength-based goals. My priority is meeting clients where they are in their healing process to attain visible, tangible growth through EMDR. I believe that repairing our nervous system from past trauma is key to emotional regulation, managing stress responses, and achieving healthy attachment.
I have experience working with children, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I seek to make meaningful connections with my clients and provide a safe environment because everyone deserves to heal.
When I'm not connecting with clients, you can find me spending quality time with my family around DFW. My favorite pastimes include caring for my variety of houseplants, practicing calligraphy, and cooking and baking for loved ones. I usually recharge by reading a good story, practicing yoga, or having a long conversation with a friend.
I am a Texas Licensed Master of Social Worker and received my Masters from UTA. I also have my BA in Political Science from UTA. My past experiences include serving as a Dual Language (English and Spanish) teacher for Kindergarten students, a bilingual Counselor for Adults, Teens, and Children, and have worked at an Adolescent Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Program for adolescents.
