My goal as a counselor is for my clients to know they are not alone and that healing and peace are possible. Each client has incredible worth and value. I hope to offer a safe and nonjudgmental setting where you can feel comfortable sharing your burdens and offloading the weight on your shoulders. Whether your struggle is anxiety, depression, or life and relationship issues, I aim to help you get to the root of your concerns and empower you to overcome them. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Midwestern State University, a Master’s in Secondary Education from the University of Alabama, and a Master’s in Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. I have three young children, one with severe special and medical needs. My personal interests and hobbies include anything involving the outdoors, music, decorating, organizing, and fashion. I also enjoy reading, flipping through magazines, and trying new places to eat.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In a typical session, I will start by building rapport and creating an environment of trust and safety. My goal is that Clients feel heard and empathized with so that they are able to lean in and trust the therapeutic process. While at times, therapy can be challenging and I want my Clients to know that they are not facing these challenges alone and that they can be empowered to make the changes they need to make and process their issues and self-reflect in a safe and healing environment.
