Kelly Zent is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky who has been practicing since 2021. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Hanover College and her Master's in Social Work from the University of Kentucky College of Social Work. Kelly's approach in practice (and in life!) is to welcome each interaction with empathy, curiosity, and the unwavering knowledge that together, we can find hope in any circumstances. Her personal goal is to sit with you through whatever challenges you face, then look with you for the way ahead. Mental illness and personal struggle are part of the journey of our lives; as part of your journey, Kelly will work alongside you to assist in finding the tools you need to cope with those struggles. As a clinician, Kelly utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, all from a strengths-based approach. She has experience working with pregnant and postpartum women, adults with anxiety and depression, adults with various mood and adjustment disorders, and adults in recovery with complex trauma histories. Kelly would be honored to be part of your journey and path forward toward your personal goals. Outside of work, Kelly spends her time running-both after her 4-year-old son and as a hobby. She has run three half-marathons and many 10k's and 5k's and may run a marathon one day! She also enjoys creatively cooking with whatever she has in the house (or whatever she's hungry for), and most of the time, the meals turn out pretty good! A Lexington, KY native, she lives with her son, husband, and two cats in Lexington.
