Hello, I'm Kim. With nearly 25 years of experience in the mental health and medical social work fields, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate heart to my practice. I am trauma-informed and trained, and I hold a safe space for all who seek support. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and direct, ensuring that you feel heard and understood in our sessions together.
I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work, and I have advanced certificates in family trauma, substance abuse, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am well-equipped to guide you through various challenges.
My focus areas include chronic health conditions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship transitions and struggles. I have considerable experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as traditional and non-traditional relationships. I strive to meet individuals where they are, offering tailored support that respects your unique journey.

I believe in the importance of meeting you where you are and helping you navigate life's complexities with empathy and practical strategies. On a personal note, I am married and share my home with three wonderful cats. As an elder punk-rocker, I value authenticity and resilience, both in my personal life and in my therapeutic practice.
