Kimberly grew up on Long Island. Kimberly attended Farmingdale State College for undergrad and graduated with a Bachelors of Criminal Justice. Kimberly then attended Great Escapes where she obtained her CASAC-T ( Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor). Kimberly continues her educated at Stony Brook University and graduated with her masters in Social Work.
Kimberly’s main focus has been in substance abuse, mental health and individuals who have been effected by the criminal justice system. Kimberly believes in meeting each client where they are at and helping them with an individualized plan to help them achieve their goals. Kimberly’s therapeutic style includes Cognitive Behavioral and Motivational Interviewing therapy to make a few.
When Kimberly is not working she is an advocate for mental health rights. Kimberly also enjoys painting and spending time at New York Zoos and Aquariums. Kimberly likes to combine the outside with exercise by bike riding through different parks on Long Island. Kimberly loves to see the beauty that New York and the world has to offer by traveling to historic sites.
