What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not accepting Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist grew from a genuine desire to understand people, their experiences, and the challenges that can shape the way we see ourselves and our relationships. Over the years, my work with individuals, couples, and families has deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and individualized care. Curiosity, empathy, and a nonjudgmental approach are what I bring to each session as you work toward the changes that matter most to you. I believe that asking for support is a strength, and therapy can be a place to reconnect with your strengths and move forward with greater confidence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I specialize in anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, behavioral concerns, and supporting individuals, couples, and families through complex or stressful experiences, with an emphasis on helping you develop practical coping skills. To do that, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy, so you can better understand your experiences, strengthen your relationships, and work toward meaningful change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and the change you create should align with your goals and values. I create a space where you can feel respected and comfortable being honest about what you’re experiencing. Together, we’ll explore your concerns, identify patterns that may be getting in the way, and develop practical strategies that fit your needs and goals. Because I believe you are the expert on your own life, my role is to provide guidance, support, and a different perspective while helping you recognize your strengths and build confidence in your ability to make that change.
