I would like to start this review by mentioning that I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and two Masters degrees in Psychology and cognitive science, respectively. I saw Mr. Morgan for about 8 weeks. He is a good listener with a kind demeanor. However, I was not initially informed through Zocdoc that Mr. Morgan follows fundamentalist Christian beliefs and works as a Pastor at a local church. At week 7, it was made clear that his treatments heavily incorporate fundamentalist Christian beliefs, and heavily encourages joining a worship service. This treatment style made me feel uncomfortable, and when I urged our time together towards secular treatment methodology, Kobe insisted that his faith based approach was the only effective solution. If you follow a Fundamentalist Christian ideology, Kobe may be a great fit for you. If you are seeking secular or multi-faith treatment options per the American Psychological Association, I suggest finding options elsewhere.
