Hi there, I'm Kristi!
Kristi Hard, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I exercises a client-centered and strengths-based approach and enjoys assisting clients as they work through their challenges. I have received specialized training in domestic violence and trauma processing.
My approach
My therapeutic approach includes Client Centered Therapy (CCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
My focus
I have experience with mental health issues and has experience treating depression, anxiety, bipolar, and borderline personality disorder and PTSD.
My communication style
I like to practice in a calm soothing, safe environment to help clients feel at ease. I tried to help clients to feel relaxed and safe with working with me.
My journey to mental healthcare
About eleven years ago my ex-husband and I adopted my biological niece, my sister was a drug addict and she could no longer care for her daughter. It was through working with my daughters and her therapist that I decided that I wanted to go back to school to be able to help other people like her therapist had helped my family.
My goals for you
I like to ask clients what goals they want to work on in our time together. Then make a plan to work towards together.

I like to spend a little bit of time getting to know one another and talking about their expectations.
