Excellent, great guy.
Nothing but pleasant experiences so far!
Had to wait a little but he was great!
The PTs are nice and seem knowledgeable but the front office staff is super unprofessional and disorganized. I've been seen several times by PTs while the office staff can't manage to find my chart, and I end up just having to re-explain my pain in laymen's terms because the PT is seeing me without my medical records.
Dr. Shapiro was very professional and I felt that I was in very good hands. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I am looking forward to working with him.
Dr Shapiro recently treated me for tendonitis in my wrist. He and his team were very professional and engaging; and genuinely cared about helping me resolve the problem as efficiently as possible. Dr Shapiro always took time to ask questions about how my wrist was feeling at each appointment, and the treatment was very effective.
He was professional when treating me during the 10 minutes of the appointment. The other time was with an assistant who hooked me up to the machines or gave me exercises to work on. However, I was incredibly disappointed by the front desk. They did not do due diligence with confirming appointments, and I've had two appointments that did not go through or the time was not correct. Nor were they willing to help. My biggest complaint was how unreliable Dr. Laksman is with patient communication. I had complications that spread down to my lower back, and had asked he call me back. I stressed how urgent this was, and he never called... not even to see why I never came back. Really, it made me feel very insignificant as a patient who was seeing him for treatment/rehabilitation.
I've seen Dr. Laks for two separate running-related injuries, both times with great results.
I was seen a bit late but other than that Dr. Laksman was really great. He is extremely knowledgable.
Very good experience. I am excited to start the program to get rid of my issues!
Kind and knowledgeable.
When I actually saw him, he was helpful. I usually saw physical therapy students, though--and while I felt they did fine, I was actually a bit upset that I wasn't seeing the licensed practitioner. Also: the practice stopped accepting my insurance, which was disappointing.
I worked with Dr. Laks for 6 weeks, 2-3 times a week, rehabbing a running injury. He worked magic! I went from barely being able to hobble around with a cane to training for a race in 6 weeks. He listened to me, gave me excellent advice, and designed a program that had me back in my running shoes in no time. I can't recommend him highly enough.
It was great. Everyone in the office was efficient and respectful. The DPT listened carefully to my temporary condition and was responsive to what I said and felt.
Office staff is very friendly and helpful - always feel welcome. DPT and acupuncturist are both great.
Office is clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommended!
