She was great at explaining the biomechanics and anatomy and listened closely to how it felt and when it was time to change up the exercises. Once we hit the right level of intensity, things really turned the corner. About Dr. Michele Christian
Michele Christian received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2022. Prior to starting her career in physical therapy, she grew up in northern New Jersey and began dancing from a young age. Throughout her life, she developed a passion for the effect of movement on emotional healing, which later turned into a curiosity for movement’s effect on physical healing. To fulfill her curiosity, Michele attended and graduated from The University of Scranton with her B.S. in Exercise Science, and eventually pursuing her studies in physical therapy in Arizona. While in school, she also pursued additional education to provide pelvic floor services into her practice.
Michele’s professional experience includes working in outpatient orthopedic settings in Arizona, where she introduced pelvic floor services to geriatric population. She is very excited to be able to continue her career with Stroma Physical Therapy to provide valuable one-on-one care with her patients. When Michele is not working, she can be found dancing and choreographing, or enjoying the sun with a run or a hike.

Michele was wonderful - listened intently to my description of my injury and what I needed to work on. Asked lots of questions along the way. Checked in regularly with what she was doing to make sure the pressure was ok. Explained what she was doing and what was going on with my arm at every step.

Michele is wonderful. I feel so grateful for her and the complete knowledge she has of the body. She is like a medical detective. I was diagnosed with planter fascitis, as I worked with Michele it turned out my problem was lower back. In a few session I was no longer in pain. She is so professional and in so in tune with one's body. Her personality is soothing, kind and caring. I just can't say enough things about her.
