Lauren Ludlow, LCSW

Psychotherapist
1100 Melody Ln, Roseville, CA
You want to be present, find ease, and fully enjoy your life and relationships, but anxiety, trauma, and big transitions keep getting in the way. You've worked hard to create this life and your relationships. You do your best to "have it all together" for friends, family, colleagues, and your partner. In the middle of all the roles, changes, and expectations, you've lost yourself, disconnected from your needs, and lost track of your values and joy. Whether it is constant anxiety, imposter syndrome, disconnection, or pain that keeps holding you back-you're just done living this way and ready to live more fully. I help you do the deep work, understand the roots of your patterns, transform trauma, and build new intentional patterns centered on joy, connection, and your core values. I'm a warm, affirming somatic therapist who blends mind-body practices, EMDR, and parts-work to help you heal so you can build a more aligned life and relationships. I hold a Master's in Social Administration, Community Practice for Social Change, from Case Western Reserve University, which informs my commitment to holistic healing and social empowerment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In session, I don't just nod along while you vent. We explore your patterns with compassion, try new practices, connect with your strengths and wisdom, and give you tools you can use immediately all while helping you find the lasting healing and transformation that you need. We will work together to create goals the are meaningful for you. My practice is a safe and affirming space for BIPOC, the LGBTQIA+ community, and people who identify as part of communities that have been marginalized and we can explore the impact of those experiences and what it means to live into meaning and fulfillment in the face of marginalization. I welcome you to bring all parts of yourself to therapy and that means a session can involve vulnerability, laughter, sensitive moments, joking, talking about your strengths and interest from astrology to herbology, and everything in between.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
