I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. My approach is humanistic, driven by the belief that we all have inherent worth even when our internal voice or the voices of others tell us otherwise. I utilize modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients approach their emotional experiences with open curiosity and gently examine behavioral patterns that are incongruent with their personal values. I offer EMDR as a trauma therapy to soothe a hypervigilant nervous system that still feels in danger even after a threat has passed.
