I have over 10 years of experience and specialize in trauma work & addiction counseling, but have experience with a wide variety of issues and populations. I help people develop self-awareness so they can find out what is really driving the pain; then I help them connect to their strengths so they can create a future they want to be a part of. I treat my clients with respect and autonomy, and feel the relationship is the most valuable part of treatment. This means I bring authenticity to the relationship as well as trust and safety. I emphasize movement toward change and awakening so that clients can truly feel better. To accomplish this, I use bottom-up approaches like EMDR and inner child work, that help clients reach deeper levels of insight. I gently walk them through integration of these insights so they can affect meaningful change in their lives and relationships.
If you know you have to make a change, that your life isn't what is should be, I will do my best to help you figure out how and why. Together we can work on uncovering your true potential, and I will help guide the process so you can tackle the fear and pain alongside someone you trust. You do not have to face these things alone.
