I am someone who can be very much in my head...in intellect, figuring things out, fantasies...ruminating, wondering...in a way that's disconnected from my body & being deeply present.
Not being connected, present, has impacted a lot of areas of my life that I value, especially around intimacy.
I only worked with Lisette for a few months due to insurance issues, but within that few months with her I started to process of pressing pause on being in my head, & pressing play on being grounded in the moment & being connected in my body with exercises & techniques that she'd walk me through.
She has a warm presence, a certain sunniness about her & really values creating a warm space for clients.
As a white Latina, she also, is very adamant about being mindful of her privilege & racism, & committed to being responsible for that in the space of therapy.

I saw Lisette after seeing a lot of therapists before and I stuck with her after that because I felt safe and heard and the work, we did together was so awaking for me. She met me where I was instead of forcing or pushing what she had "planned" for that day. As a social worker, she inspires me to be kind and have self-empathy. She changed my life for the better because I realized the importance of therapy and mental health.

Meeting Lisette was one of the best things that has happened in my life.
We have been working together for several years now, and after every session I feel like I walk away with so many more tools for navigating whatever challenge (big or small) is ahead of me. I have always felt heard, supported and challenged when I need to be in out sessions, and the amount of personal growth I have experienced is immeasurable.
Lisette has a world of knowledge and resources, is easy to talk to, kind empathetic, and knows how to hold me accountable! I would highly encourage anyone looking for therapy to take a consultation with her. I feel so lucky to have found her as a therapist.

I had been to various therapists regularly for almost ten years prior to meeting Lisette. They had always kept my depression and anxiety in check so I could function day-to-day. Lisette was the first therapist who really focused on being proactive and teaching me the skills to properly address my mental illnesses so I could function more independently. With her help, I was able to reduce my dependence on medication while also getting to the best place mentally I've been in years and developing the skills to maintain it on my own.

Lisette was my therapist for three years. She's supportive, compassionate, and kind. In the time I was her patient, we used a mix of talk therapy, art therapy, and several other methodologies in service of helping me unpack and process past trauma and arrive at a much better understanding of myself. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a therapist to pretty much anyone.

Lisette is just the best! She strikes the perfect balance of making you feel comfortable, seen, and heard, and pushing you to become more aware and conscious of where your everyday behaviors and habits are rooted in trauma. She's always listened to me without judgment and offered insights that have really helped me navigate my current relationships in a healthier way than my past. I can't recommend her enough, whether you're just starting out with therapy or looking for a new therapist!

I’ve been a patient of Lisette’s for 7 years now. She’s been a part of many chapters of my life. Having her as a constant throughout the years has been an inexplicable peace.
Lisette goes out of her way to create a safe space where you feel comfortable being yourself, and checks in with you during sessions to make sure you’re on the same page. She knows when to slow me down and feel and when to let me just talk.
Lisette is not only a wonderful, empathic practitioner, she is a genuine person. She is able to meet you where you as a person, not a patient. I always leave feeling calmer and more grounded—albeit that took a lot of personal work!

Lisette is truly a kind, sensitive and attentive therapist. From day 1, I felt embraced by her. She communicates really well in all aspects and her office space is simplistic yet creative. During my time (5 years), I felt a constant sense of trust and ease with Lisette. She helped me turn my life around with her special techniques, and with her ability to see through to the core of each problem. I highly recommend her service.

I feel fortunate to have worked with Lisette over the last several years. Her sessions really opened my eyes and helped me understand when my anxiety is getting the best of me, and tools to help identify and resolve these issues. Lisette is empathetic, professional, and an amazing therapist.

Lisette is a wonderful therapist. I like her focus on what's happening with me in the "here and now" combined with her interest in the ways that my past shows up in my present. I see how she helps me slow down and orient toward my insides. Literally my insides. For me especially, having someone be so very curious about me and my experience has been a big deal. I know also that her kindness really matters. I have been helped by her a great deal and I imagine that other people will too.
