Getting to know Jennifer Baez

I am an LCSW with over 15 years of experience working in various settings, providing therapy for diverse populations. I have worked with teenagers and young adults addressing the challenges and struggles associated with managing interpersonal relationships and finding our voice. I have supported young adults transitioning to independence and discovering their own path. I also have experience working with adults managing family issues, career concerns, and relationships. Symptoms of depression and anxiety can be debilitating, and I feel confident in supporting you on this journey of healing. Together, we can identify coping techniques, learn your triggers, and develop behavior modification strategies to help manage your feelings and experiences. My mission is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and develop the tools you need to thrive. I understand that everyone is unique, with their own set of challenges and goals. That’s why I take the time to get to know you, understand your individual needs and experiences, and together identify what healing looks like for you. I am a coach and your cheerleader. I am lucky to love what I do and am humbled to be chosen to walk this journey of self-discovery and healing with you. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Stony Brook University.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
